With its 18 years of experience and the vision of producing new technologies, creating added value that will contribute to science and humanity, Hacettepe Technopolis aims to establish and grow companies that use or produce advanced technology by maximizing university-industry cooperation. Hacettepe Technopolis provides an environment and support to companies that will operate in the fields of innovative advanced technologies and software development to enable them to use their existing resources more efficiently or to create new resources.
Hacettepe University has professional mechanisms to transfer its scientific knowledge to the relevant sectors. For this purpose, in 2008, Hacettepe Technopark Technology Transfer Center (HT-TTM) was established as a sub-unit of Hacettepe Technology Development Zone Administration Inc. and became a separate legal entity in 2009 under the status of a joint-stock company. HT-TTM has produced 100000000+ ₺ worth of technology transfer services with 1600+ contracted public-university-industry cooperation projects.
HT-TTM University-Industry Cooperation Office serves to convert the knowledge acquired by the research carried out in our university into economic value by transferring it to the public and industrial sectors, to direct the technical needs of companies of different scales for R&D and innovation, to bring researchers and industry together to ensure sustainable cooperation.
HT-TTM Entrepreneurship Office was established to support every individual who has a Technology-Based innovative business idea that has a potential to be transformed into a commercial product within or outside of Hacettepe University. Under the Hacettepe HAMLE Entrepreneurship System, the training, mentorship, and consultancy services required for entrepreneur candidates to transform their business ideas into business models are provided with the programs prepared for entrepreneur candidate academics, students, graduates, and employees. At the same time, special accelerator programs are organized for entrepreneurs whose prototypes are ready.
Hacettepe Technopark Incubation Center provides services such as training, mentoring, consultancy, and networking that entrepreneurs need in their business establishment process. While free internet infrastructure and office facilities are provided to incubators, for which a very small rental fee is paid, they can also benefit from the kitchen, meeting rooms, and recreation areas that are open to common use. Many of our incubation companies, which we graduate after 36 months at most, grow and continue their activities by moving to offices within Hacettepe Technopark.
HT-TTM Patent Office started to serve as of 2013 to provide technical support to Hacettepe University academics and industry for intellectual industrial and property rights. The Patent Office evaluates the patentability and commercializability of the inventions that emerged during the scientific studies carried out at our University. HT-TTM Patent Office also serves as the information center for Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, European Patent Office and PATLIB Patent Information Center.
HT-TTM Project Office is founded in 2013 to support the implementation of the project ideas from academics, industrialists, and entrepreneurs. The Project Office provides project preparation support for the participants to benefit effectively from national and international funding programs. Our experienced team consists of experts with experience in preparing and executing projects in national and international fund programs.
