At Hacettepe University, a unique teaching approach, specialized in different scientific disciplines, is applied. Teaching at Hacettepe University is carried out at 3 different levels (associate, undergraduate, graduate) and in three main fields (Medical and Health Sciences, Science and Engineering, Social and Humanities), in 500 different programs, with more than 8200 courses available each semester and more than 53000+ students enrolled in these courses.

At Hacettepe University, 98 undergraduate programs in 15 faculties are carried out with 37000+ students. Besides, 31 associate degree programs in 4 vocational schools are carried out with 5700+ students.

At Hacettepe University, 132 master's and doctoral degree programs are carried out in the field of medicine and health sciences, 61 in the field of science and engineering, and 178 in the field of social and humanities. A total of 10300+ students continue their education in the graduate programs of our university.

Due to this large non-homogeneous educational structure, our university uses various approaches and tools in distance learning processes.

Hacettepe's institutional structure is designed to support the operations of teaching processes. The units and technologies that support the planning, execution, and measurement of outputs include the Education Commission, the Student Affairs Department, the Student Affairs Information System (BILSİS), the Distance Education Application and Research Center, the Learning and Teaching Development Center.

Hacettepe University has been achieving extraordinary success in the Higher Education Institutions Exam selection rankings on a regular basis for years. 27% (21 programs) of our 77 undergraduate programs that accept students with the Higher Education Institutions Exam is ranked as the first among the same programs offered in their field. 70% of our programs (54 programs) are ranked the first, second or third-places among all universities in their field.
